The Benito Pérez’s acorn 50% Iberian ham special selection is a rigorously selected piece from among all our acorn-fed hams with unique characteristics. It comes from 50% Iberian pigs carefully selected and raised in freedom in the best holm oak pastures and fed on acorns during the ‘montanera’ season, completing this diet with grass and other fruits of the ground.


The 'montanera' is the period between October and March approximately, on which the ripening of the acorn and the final phase of the Iberian pig's rearing take place. During this period, the animal puts on a lot of weight and that is why, once this phase is over, it is slaughtered.


In our ham factory in Salamanca, we carry out the complete process of manufacturing and selling both hams and sausages. The acorn 50% Iberian ham special selection is a rigorously selected product, with approximately 36 months in natural drying rooms. This curing process is always being controlled throughout this time.

Whole bone-in Iberian hams should be kept in a cool, dry place, preferably in a ham holder or hung up and away from direct light. Sudden changes in temperature should also be avoided, therefore a cellar or storage room could be the perfect place for its best preservation.


When you receive the ham, free the piece from any type of wrapping so that it can breathe properly.


Once opened, protect its cut with a clean, lint-free cloth, removing it only when you want to cut ham.

He esperado a poner una reseña tras hacer mi segundo pedido para confirmar que las opiniones tras el primero persistían. Y como lo hacen, pues ahí va. Cuando seleccioné Jamones Benito Pérez para comprar lo hice porque me gusta el jamón de la zona de Guijuelo o cercana y porque buscaba un proveedor de calidad, alguien no demasiado grande, pero que me diera confianza. Ser de Miranda del Castañar y un secadero con muchos años ya era un plus. Vi las opiniones en Google y había un buen número y con una media más que razonablemente alta. No quería a uno de los grandes que sé que no son cuidadosos y sus jamones pueden ser mezclados de a saber dónde. Con estos lo tenía claro. Y hasta ahora ni la más mínima decepción. En el primer pedido compré una paletilla de bellota selección especial y en el segundo un jamón de bellota selección especial. Ambos magníficos, nada que objetarles. A destacar muy buen precio, prácticamente sin competencia en lo que puedes ver por internet. No debemos olvidarnos del servicio, muy fácil el proceso de compra y la rapidez en el transporte. Ambos me han llegado entre las 24 y las 48 horas desde el pedido. Y, desde luego, el producto, espectacular. Un 50% de montanera que parece un 100%. En relación calidad/precio no he visto otro igual.

Soy cliente desde hace años. Durante este tiempo siempre he comprado a esta empresa y el resultado ha sido espectacular. Anteriormente compraba de otras marcas, bastante conocidas, y la calidad de este jamón la diferencia con bastante distancia con respecto a las otras. Y además el precio es más que aceptable. Todo un acierto ha sido mi experiencia. Por ciento acabo de comprar uno.

El mejor jamón de bellota que he probado hasta ahora. Descubrí esta empresa de casualidad y me atreví a comprar por las opiniones que tenían en google, ya he hecho varios pedidos, habéis ganado un gran cliente.
