Our ‘pata negra’ acorn-fed Iberian ham comes from 50% Iberian breed pigs rised in freedom in holm oak pastures and fed on acorns during the ‘montanera’ season, completing this diet with grass and other fruits of the ground.


The 'montanera' is the period between October and March approximately, on which the ripening of the acorn and the final phase of the Iberian pig's rearing take place. During this period, the animal puts on a lot of weight and that is why, once this phase is over, it is slaughtered.


In our ham factory in Salamanca, we carry out the complete process of manufacturing and selling acorn-fed Iberian hams, with approximately 36 months in natural drying rooms. This curing process is always being controlled throughout this time.


Buying acorn-fed Iberian ham online directly from the factory is a great advantage for the consumer, as being able to know the entire manufacturing process of acorn-fed Iberian ham from its beginnings, offers a great security and guarantee.

Whole bone-in Iberian hams should be kept in a cool, dry place, preferably in a ham holder or hung up and away from direct light. Sudden changes in temperature should also be avoided, therefore a cellar or storage room could be the perfect place for its best preservation.


When you receive the ham, free the piece from any type of wrapping so that it can breathe properly.


Once opened, protect its cut with a clean, lint-free cloth, removing it only when you want to cut ham.

Es la segunda vez que consumo jamón de bellota en esta casa y seguiré repitiendo. Excelente, tanto la curación como el punto de sal, un 10.

Me esperaba más intensidad en el sabor. No me llega ese picor que te dejan los buenos jamones. Siendo bellota debo decir que he comido mejores de cebo de campo. La curación excelente. El envío rapidísimo.

Soy un consumidor habitual de Jamón y probé por los comentarios esta empresa y puedo afirmar que el Jamón es espectacular. En su punto de sal y de curación, de los mejores jamones que he comido. Repetiré compra y si siguen con ese nivel tienen cliente de por vida. Calidad 100% y atención al cliente 10.
